The latest makeup trend for summer 2021 comes from TikTok and is called "kissed blush". It is the evolution of the sun-kissed effect achieved with blushes that embrace even the most romantic shades.
In fact, this summer's must-have hues range from orange to pink, peach to apricot, and even fuchsia for the more daring of us!
These are ideal for recreating the "Bonne mine": the term is pronounced "bon min" and is an abbreviation of the French expression "avoir une bonne mine", literally "to look good". The idea is to recreate a relaxed face with a luminous, slightly pinkish complexion, a bit like that of a child. In the makeup world, kissed blush is definitely a variety of natural makeup but with golden cheeks after a day outdoors and exposed to sunlight.
How to create the blush kissed is taught to us on TikTok by @meganlavallie thanks to her video which has now gone viral. The TikTok uses a liquid blush (but a stick is also great) and blends the color with her fingertips, applying it along the cheekbone, just above the jawline. The advantage of this look is that it really suits everyone: the younger ones because of its luminous look, but also the "over" ones because it rejuvenates and has a lifting effect on the cheekbones.
