This year more than 35 thousand pharmacists and various operators in the pharmaceutical, parapharmaceutical and healthcare sectors have been associated with 400 exhibiting companies to consolidate their business, present product news and discuss the most relevant issues for the market.
From digital evolution to dermo-cosmetics at Cosmofarma 2018
Among the more than 80 conferences that have enriched the calendar of training events of Cosmofarma Exhibition, the sessions aimed at digital evolution and new perspectives for pharmacy have been particularly successful. The meetings dedicated to the dermocosmetics and the in-depth analysis of the market transformations were also very much followed. "The dermocosmetics in pharmacy has grown overall and constantly over the last 40 years and has reached 18.5% of the entire beauty products market", explained Stefano Fatelli, president of Cosmetici Group in pharmacy of Cosmetica Italia at the inauguration of Cosmofarma Exhibition 2018. "Consumers are turning to the pharmacist for advice that is increasingly geared to their many aesthetic needs, including make-up, from lipstick to eye shadows, in cases of sensitive, delicate skin or in the presence of skin reactions. Finally, pharmacies are consolidating their position as a place of purchase par excellence for sunscreen products for adults and children".
The dermo-cosmetics sector is a fast growing product sector, which has seen a significant increase in the number of exhibitors in this edition of Cosmofarma: there have been many companies offering products for hygiene and body care, oral hygiene, make-up, hand, foot and nail care, and natural cosmetics that have chosen Cosmofarma Exhibition as a showcase for their business.
The new pavilion, the 32, dedicated for the first time to two new players in the health market, distributors and subcontractors, was much appreciated by visitors: this new area represents an important step for the event that further expands its offer to companies and visitors.
