The top notes are the first to be perceived but also the first to disappear, they are the most volatile and light and have a lower persistence, so much so that they fade within 15 minutes. Their role is fundamental as they represent the business card of a fragrance: thanks to their aromas they capture people's attention when they come into contact with the fragrance for the first time.
The heart notes emerge later, they last about two or three hours and are the central and most powerful part of a fragrance.
Finally, the base notes emerge which complete the evolution of the fragrance for the home and tell its true personality: their aromas diffuse slowly until they last even 24 hours.
